The effect of Yu Chan Wei Fei Pill on the pathological morphology and IgE content of nasal mucosa in allergic rhinitis rats
Objective To research on the effect of Yu Chan Wei Fei Pill on the pathological morphology and Ig E content of nasal mucosa in allergic rhinitis rats,and to explore the immune mechanism of the allergic rhinitis treatment. Methods 36 healthy rats were randomly divided into 6 groups. Ovalbumin sensitized rats were used to produce allergic rhinitis rat models for 21 days. The behavior of rats in each group was observed,the blood of abdominal aorta was taken and the content of serum Ig E was detected by ELISA method. The HE staining of nasal mucosa was used to observe the pathological morphology and the expression of Ig E factor by immunohistochemistry. Results(1)The serum Ig E level in the model group was higher than that in the normal control group,and the difference was statistically significant( P < 0. 05). The serum Ig E level in the middle dose group of Yu Chan Wei Fei pill was most significantly reduced.(2)Pathological morphology of nasal mucosa: in the model control group,the nasal mucosa was with hyperemia and edema,and more plasmacyte was infiltrated.(3) Immunohistochemical detection of nasal mucosa,the normal group Ig E showed with low expression state,Ig E in the model control group was strongly expressed,and the Ig E in each treatment group was moderately expressed. Conclusion Yu Chan Wei Fei pill could reduce the content of Ig E in nasal mucosa and serum of allergic rhinitis rats and achieve the effect of treating allergic rhinitis.
