王国玮师从已故中医肝病名老中医王鸿士,尤擅治疗各类慢性肝病,他认为"肝主疏泄"是慢性肝病生理病理基础,"湿邪留著"贯穿慢性肝病始终,重视脏腑关系,肝病日久必传脾、伤肾,治疗上善用理气药以疏肝郁,清热利湿或健脾祛湿贯穿肝病治疗始终,并配合和脾、固肾之法,遣方用药,谨守病机,屡获疗效。
