小儿轮状病毒感染急性腹泻属中医学"小儿暴泻"范畴,其病机属湿热蕴蒸表邪未解,与葛根芩连汤里热已炽表邪未解的湿热下利证之病机相符。故本病治疗的主方为清热利湿、固肠解表之葛根芩连汤,辅以健脾和胃、分利止泻之剂,又据兼证之不同,分别佐以疏表、消导、健脾等方剂以提升临床治疗效果。
