Objective To explore the medication rules of Chinese medicine used for oral mucositis caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Methods Articles about Chinese medicine used for oral mucositis caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy were searched on CNKI,Wanfang Data and VIP Network published from the establishment of these databases to July 2019,then, Excel,R-studio,SPSS 20.0 and other tools were used to make the association rule analysis and factor analysis for the inclusive drugs. Results There were 75 prescriptions and 155 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines which conform to the inclusive criteria.Among them,there were 11 kinds of herbal medicines with the frequency greater than or equal to 10,mainly with the nature of bitter cold and sweet cold.To make analysis of the association rules on these 11 kinds of Chinese medicines,it was revealed that there were 14 pairs with higher improvement.To make association rule analysis of 10 Chinese medicines without licorice with the frequency greater than or equal to 10, it was found that the improvement was high in all. 4 common factors were extracted by factor analysis. Conclusion The herbal medicines used in the TCM treatment of oral mucositis caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy mainly have the functions of clearing away heat and detoxifying,nourishing Yin and promoting the production of body fluid,activating blood circulation,promoting regeneration of muscle and stopping pain.
