Treatment of refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease based on Shaoyang as the pivot
Refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease (RGERD) is a common digestive system disease with recurrent reflux symptoms after proton pump inhibitor (PPI) treatment. It is mainly caused by the reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus, mouth or lung. It is believed that the imbalance of qi,fire and body fluid caused by the unfavorable Shaoyang cardinal is the key to the pathogenesis of this disease. In the treatment,Shaoyang gallbladder and triple energizer should be considered in order to reconcile the pivot and Xiaochaihu Decoction and Haoqin Qingdan Decoction used as the main prescription and modified with the syndrome with significant clinical efficacy.
