摘要

良性前列腺增生症（BPH）是中老年男性常见的以下尿路症状为主的慢性疾病之一，严重影响患者生活质量。中医学认为前列腺司溺窍开阖，属“精室”范畴。精室为奇恒之腑，在生理上具有“通则顺”的特点。故治疗BPH要遵循“以通为用”的原则，不仅要关注局部的功能障碍，更要顺应脏腑生理特性而治，采用利湿祛浊、活血化瘀、宣通气机、通阳散寒之法祛除壅滞于精室之实邪，以畅通水道；同时兼顾患者脏腑功能衰弱、脏气多虚，辅以益肾健脾、温阳化气以治本，通补结合，以通为用，防治于一体。
