GUO Weiqin's experience in treating slow pulse syndrome based on the theory of "interconnection of the five zang organs"
Professor GUO Weiqin, based on the theory of the "interconnection of the five
zang
organs", has unique insights and rich clinical experience in diagnosing and treating slow pulse syndrome. She believes that the etiology and pathogenesis of slow pulse syndrome are related to all five
zang
organs and can be summarized as "liver stagnation and
qi
deficiency, spleen weakness and diminished strength, heart blood stasis and pulse obstruction, widespread pulse blockage, and coordination imbalance". In treatment, she proposes the treatment principles of "soothingliver and promoting smooth flow","strengthening spleen function","nourishing heart and removing blood stasis""ventilating lung and benefiting pulses", and "warming kidney
and filling essence”, achieving remarkable result.
