Beijing expert consensus on the integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment of post-mastectomy lymphedema syndrome (2025)
Post-mastectomy lymphedema syndrome is a common chronic complication in breast cancer patients. As the survival rate of breast cancer patients increases, the impact of this condition on patients' quality of life intensifies, making early diagnosis and treatment especially important. This consensus is based on clinical evidence, integrating the diagnostic and treatment principles of both Chinese and Western medicine. It fully incorporates expert clinical experience and professional opinions to form unified clinical recommendations. The goal is to provide scientific guidance for clinical practice, improve treatment outcomes, optimize patient management, and effectively reduce the physical and psychological burden on patients.
