腺样体肥大是小儿耳鼻喉科常见疾病。中医学认为腺样体肥大多由内外合邪而致病,内因责之小儿正气多亏,肺脾二脏常不足,外因责之外感六淫之邪。基于“脾胃虚则九窍不通”理论分析腺样体肥大的主要病因病机包括脾气亏虚,酿湿生痰;脾气不足,血不归经,痰瘀互结,结于鼻咽;肺脾不足,卫外不固,外邪犯窍;脾不升清,浊阴上犯,鼻窍失养。治疗当运脾、补脾、健脾,使气机调畅、升降有序、肺气得充、卫表得固、气血调和,则疾病自愈。
Adenoid hypertrophy is a common otolaryngological disease in children. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is believed to result from a combination of internal and external pathogenic factors. Internally, it is due to deficiency of the child's healthy

, with insufficiency of the lung and spleen; externally, it is caused by invasion of pathogenic factors from the six exogenous influences. Based on the theory that "deficiency of spleen-stomach blocking the nine orifices", the main etiology and pathogenesis of adenoid hypertrophy include spleen-

deficiency leading to the production of dampness and phlegm; spleen-
qi
insufficiency causing impaired blood circulation, intermingling of phlegm and blood stasis, and obstruction in the nasopharynx; lung and spleen deficiency resulting in weakened defensive

and susceptibility to external pathogenic invasion of the orifices; and failure of the spleen to raise clear
qi
, allowing turbid
yin
to ascend and depriving the nasal orifices of nourishment. Treatment should focus on regulating and
tonifying the spleen to promote smooth
qi
flow, ensure orderly rise and fall of
qi
, replenish lung

, strengthen defensive
qi
, harmonize

and blood, and thereby achieve self-resolution of the disease.
