A case report of Huangqi Shaoyao Guizhi Kujiu Decoction in the treatment of yellow sweat
Yellow sweat belongs to sweat disorders in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is relatively rare in clinical practice. In modern medicine, it is classified as chromhidrosis. However, its exact etiology and pathogenesis remain unclear, and no specific effective therapy is available. This paper reports a case of yellow sweat in which the patient developed yellow-colored sweat that stained clothing and did not fade, accompanied by a pronounced odor after exposure to cold. Treatment was based on

, with modifications according to the patient's condition. After two months of treatment, the sweat gradually faded and eventually disappeared, accompanied by marked improvement in associated symptoms. No recurrence was observed during follow-up. This case provides a reference for the clinical management of yellow sweat.
