Objective To explore the effect of constitution differentiation nursing on bronchial asthma patients in remission stage by traditional Chinese medicine health cultivation theory. Methods A total of 108 bronchial asthma patients in remission stage were randomly divided into the experimented group（ n = 94） and the control group（ n = 94）. The control group was given routine nursing care,and the experimental group was given the constitution differentiation nursing intervention based on the TCM health cultivation theory,and the symptoms control,the quality of life and the lung function of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in ACT score,AQLQ score and lung function of FEV1% between the two groups before nursing. The ACT score,AQLQ score and FEV1% of the experimental group after intervention were significantly higher than those of the control group and the difference was statistically significant（ P < 0. 05）. Conclusion The constitution differentiation nursing based on TCM health cultivation theory could effectively improve the clinical symptoms of bronchial asthma patients in remission stage,and improve their quality of life and lung function.
