Objective To evaluate the effect of Shufeng Jiedu Capsule on patients with acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease（AECOPD）.Methods Ninety-three patients with AECOPD treated in Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2018 to December 2019 were randomly selected into control group and observation group according to the admission time.Finally, there were 46 in the observation group and 47 in the control group.The control group was given the routine treatment recommended by COPD guidelines.The observation group was treated with Shufeng Jiedu Capsule and the basic routine treatment.The TCM symptom scores and laboratory test index of the patients were observed and measured before and after the treatment.Results Compared with the control group, the effect of the observation group was better.After treatment, the efficacy level of the test group was better than the control group（P <0.05）; TCM syndrome score, the scores of CAT,mMRC questionnaire, sputum score were more obviously alleviated（P<0.05）,mucin（MUC5 AC）in sputum, serum NE,IL 8,CRP,and N% were better（P<0.05）.Conclusion Shufeng Jiedu Capsules combined routine treatment can improve the clinical effect of AECOPD.Shufeng Jiedu Capsules may effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs, inhibiting airway inflammation and high secretion of airway mucus in AECOPD.
