摘要

地中海贫血是单基因遗传病,发病率高、危害性大、致残率高,至今尚无特效疗法。中国中医科学院广安门医院吴志奎教授根据中医"肾藏精、生髓"及"精血同源"理论结合现代医学研究,提出"肾藏精"→"精生髓"→"髓生血"理论,并始终坚持运用"补肾益髓生血"法治疗地中海贫血。研究证实益髓生血颗粒可通过改善患者造血功能、减轻红细胞损伤与破坏等发挥治疗作用,可减轻患者贫血症状,提高生活质量并延长寿命。
