As a modern medical school born in Tianjin， the Jingu Medical School is an important component of the Yan Zhao Medical System. Influenced by multiple factors such as the natural geographical environment， economic and social development， and political changes， it has undergone several generations of inheritance and development by Jingu traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） practitioners， forming characteristics of “maintaining tradition”， “innovation”， and “compatibility”. However， it also faces development challenges and dilemmas. This article explores and analyzes the development history of the Jingu Medical School， the challenges it faces， and the corresponding countermeasures， proposing the “Five Combinations” development strategy.
