syndrome" in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）. Although numerous Western medicines are currently available for the treatment of RA， some patients still achieve unsatisfactory outcomes. Under the guidance of Professor DONG Zhenhua， a renowned TCM practitioner in Beijing， the rheumatology specialist group of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Peking Union Medical College Hospital has accumulated extensive experience in the integrated treatment of RA. This paper reports a case of RA combined with multiple mononeuritis from the perspective of dampness-heat theory. After treatment with high-dose hormones and immunosuppressants， the patient developed refractory fever， and joint pain and neuropathic pain in the feet showed little improvement. Following TCM-based syndrome differentiation and integrative treatment， the patients body temperature returned to normal， joint and foot pain were alleviated， muscle weakness and numbness improved， inflammatory markers decreased， and analgesics were gradually discontinued， achieving favorable clinical outcomes.
